KIMS Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Foundation (KIMS Amalapuram) observed World Blood Donor Day with a Blood Donation Awareness Rally and Voluntary Blood Donation Camp, reinforcing its commitment to community health and lifesaving care. The programme was organized to create awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and its vital role in supporting healthcare services.
Faculty members, students, and staff actively participated in the awareness rally conducted from the Medical College Portico to the Blood Bank. The rally served as a platform to educate and inspire the community about the significance of regular blood donation and its impact on saving lives.
Following the rally, a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized at the Blood Bank, where participants willingly donated blood to support patients in need. The camp highlighted the importance of maintaining an adequate blood supply and encouraged individuals to contribute to this life-saving cause.
